Abstract

1531425 Toy railway points GRAFAR Ltd 25 June 1976 [27 June 1975] 27481/75 Heading A6S Toy railway points have inner running rails 3, 4 for their two branches and a frog 7 electrically insulated from these rails and from movable blades 5, 6, electrical switching means and connections being provided so that in one position of the blades, one blade, as shown the blade 6, connects the frog 7 via a conductor 10, contacts 13, the blade itself, and a jumper 9 to the inner fixed rail 3 of one branch while the other blade 5, which is connected via a jumper 8 to the inner rail 4 of the other branch, remains insulated. In the other position of the blades 5, 6, the contact 13 no longer makes connection, but instead the frog 7 is connected via the conductor 10, a contact 12, the blade 5, the jumper 8 to the inner rail 4 of the other branch, the blade 6 and the inner rail 3 of the first branch now being electrically isolated.
