1534809 Power supply for electrical rail vehicles SIEMENS AG 21 Sept 1977 [28 Sept 1976] 39430/77 Heading B7L An A.C. supply system for two tracks for electrically powered vehicles 9, 10, each track having a first conductor, e.g. overhead wires 3, 4, and a second conductor, e.g. rails 7, 8, wherein the first conductors are respectively joined to opposite ends of a transformer and the second conductors are connected to the centre tap M of the transformer. The arrangement permits high supply voltages and dispenses with the need for a separate track supply feeder rail.
