Abstract

1530876 Milking bails ATELIERS NICOLAS BOTTIN SPRL 21 April 1977 [23 April 1976] 16597/77 Heading AIM A mobile trailer comprises milking stalls 1 which can be raised hydraulically to bring the animals to a height convenient for milking by an operator in a space 2. An entry gate 14 is raised vertically as a stall is lowered to permit entry of an animal, and is lowered as the stall is raised. The animal leaves from the other end of the stall, a manger 5 being pivotable about a horizontal axis and raised hydraulically to provide an exit. The mangers are supplied with measured volumes of feed by a hydraulically controlled dispensing arrangement, a hopper 6 being provided between adjacent pairs of stalls and discharging into cylinders whence adjustablestroke pistons discharge feed into respective mangers.
