Abstract

152,995. Ridgway, H. N. March 1, 1918, [Convention date]. Amusement apparatus.-Passenger cars 1 mounted on castors 2 are placed on a conical platform 5 which is rotated by a motor 12. When sufficient angular velocity has been acquired, the cars are driven by centrifugal force on to a stationary conical surface 3 down which they run again on to the platform 5. The cars 1 are fitted with circular spring buffers 35 to prevent undue shock in collision.
