Abstract

152,927. Greig, S. March 19, 1920. Interlocking.-The two valves 2, 3 of a threeway valve apparatus are interlocked by means of a rocking-bar 10 having teeth 8, 9 which engage with the teeth of either one of two collars 6, 7, fixed on the valve spindles 4, 5 when the other valve spindle is rotated to open its corresponding valve. The plain part of the collar of the open valve abuts against the teeth of the rocking-bar and holds the other end in engagement with the teeth of the collar on the other valve spindle so as to lock that valve in its closed position.
