Abstract
152,834. Wagner, R. D. Sept. 3, 1919. Bushes, bolt-hole. - For securing bolt heads to walls a socket is embedded in the wall with its end flush with the wall surface, and is anchored by bent arms A. The head of the bolt F is passed into an opening C so as to engage under shoulders E, against which the head is clamped when an article is secured by nuts. Ridges H are formed to retain cement by which the socket is finally filled. The socket allows bolts of different thickness to be. used, and to be clamped in varying positions. To provide for considerable adjustment of the bolt along a wall, an elongated socket with an opening C at one or both ends may be used, and may have two or more sets of anchoring arms. For thin bolts a washer may be passed on to the bolt and placed in the chamber C.
