Abstract

1526586 Dielectric ceramic MURATA MFG CO Ltd 28 July 1976 [31 July 1975 (2)] 31344/76 Heading C1J A dielectric ceramic composition for high frequencies consists essentially of a basic composition composed of 22-43 wt. per cent of TiO 2 , 38-58 wt. per cent of ZrO 2 , 9-26 wt. per cent of SnO 2 , and an additive consisting of La 2 O 3 or a mixture of La 2 O 3 and ZnO, the additive being present in an amount of 0À5-10 wt. per cent of the total (basic composition plus additive). When the additive is La 2 O 3 and ZnO, the La 2 O 3 is preferably present in an amount of up to 2 wt. per cent and ZnO up to 7 wt. per cent. The compositions are suitable for use as dielectric resonators in microwave bandpass filters, or as antennas employed at microwave frequencies, or as substrates for microwave circuits.
