1523531 Magnesium zinc double salts N L INDUSTRIES Inc 5 May 1976 18505/76 Heading C1A [Also in Divisions C2 and C3] A magnesium zinc complex salt of an acid is prepared by reacting MgO with a zinc salt of an acid in molar ratio 2-10:1. Specified zinc salts are zinc sulphate, borate, phosphate, phosphite, fluoborate, sulphite, fluorosilicate, silicate, and sulphamate. The products are of use as fire retardant compositions.
