Abstract

1521706 Hay making machines JOSEF BAUTZ GmbH 2 Oct 1975 [4 Oct 1974] 40390/75 Heading A1F A processing device 2 having implements 21 for breaking up or tedding mown material 19, 20 is coupled to a mobile machine frame 3 of a mower unit 1 by a projecting arm system 23, 29 which enables the processing device 2 to be carried in a transport position, Fig. 2, behind the mower or swung and locked in a working position, Fig. 1, laterally of the mower. The processing device is carried in the transport position by its pivot pins 32, 33 in bearing boxes 34, 35 on the wheel supports 17 of the machine frame 6 and in the working position by the pivot pin 32 seated in a bearing box 38 in the support 17 of the wheel 4 and by a wheel 37 provided on the device itself. The support arm 23 is pivotable about a vertical shaft 26 on the device 2 and about vertical and horizontal shafts 25, 24, on the machine frame 3, swinging and lifting of the device 2 being achieved by means of a lifting cylinder 27.
