Abstract

1521035 Road sweeping machine B I STODDART [trading as B I S ENG] 17 Sept 1975 [23 Sept 1974] 41396/74 Heading E1G A road sweeping attachment for the front or rear of a tractor comprises a sweeping box 21 whose open end faces a cylindrical brush 1 driven hydraulically or otherwise from the tractor. The brush 1 and box 21 are mounted in a frame 5-6-7-20 which is hinged at 15 to a vehicle arm 9 and has a hydraulic lifting ram 33. The box 21 is supported by pivots 25 and a single road wheel 27, has a hinged door 31 held closed by a latch 32.
