Abstract

1283362 Road sweepers J CRAIG 26 May 1970 [22 May 1969] 26066/69 Heading E1G A road sweeper comprises a frame 2 carrying a cylindrical brush 7, a removable transmission unit and a hydraulic motor 9. The transmission unit comprises a chain 10 and sprockets 11 contained within a casing 19 bolted to frame 2. A plate 13 secured to frame 2 is connected by pins (14), 15 to bar (4) attachable to a vehicle. The angular and lateral position of the brush is adjusted by positioning of the pins in respective holes (17, 16) in bar (4).
