Abstract
1519681 Arranging chocolates on a conveyer into groups SOLLICH oHG 20 April 1976 [17 April 1975] 15976/76 Heading B8A Chocolates 2 on a conveyer belt 6 are arranged into groups of rows by the action of a barrier 8 and a photocell 13 controlling the movement of the belt 6, the groups then being aligned by the action of pushers 9, 10, moving periodically in a direction at 45 degrees to the movement of a downstream conveyer 1. The pushers 9, 10, each have three stepped sections so as to provide a progressively increasing alignment action. The operation of the pushers 9, 10 and the stop 8 are synchronized. The aligned groups of chocolates are fed on to trays 3 on a conveyer 4 which rises up from beneath the conveyer 1.
