1519035 Treating cellulosic materials J & P COATS Ltd 27 July 1976 [11 Oct 1975] 41747/75 Addition to 1136417 Heading DIP Cellulosic textile material which is treated with liquid amonia and which is stretched only during an ammonia-removing treatment as in claim 1 of Parent Specification, is subjected to stretching so that the sum of the involuntarily produced elongation resulting from frictional drag in the stretching mechanism and the voluntarily imposed elongation imposed by the stretching mechanism is in the range 10-30% of the length of the material following the liquid ammonia treatment.
