Abstract

1518877 Identification member for electric terminals HEGO ELECTRIC GmbH 9 April 1976 14512/76 Heading B8F [Also in Division H2] An identification member for attachment to an electrical terminal comprising a metal yoke 7 and a clamping screw 8 comprises two plates 1 and la having means for securing the plates together face to face, each of the mating faces having a recess 16 to accommodate the screw 8 and at least one of the plates having a pair of legs 17 provided with detent members 2. The plates 1 and la may be of different colours, are made of plastics and are provided with recesses 11 for receiving identification plates 20. Each is provided with a pin 12 and recess 13 so that by interengagement of the pins and recesses the plates can be secured together. The recess 16 is provided with three beads 3, 5 and 21. The plates may be fastened together before or after being clipped on to the sleeve 7 and are held in place on the sleeve by engagement between the head 26 of the screw 8 and the bead 21. In a modification the plates 1 and la are integrally moulded, being interconnected by a thin hinge portion (14), Fig. 2 (not shown).
