Abstract
1517761 Froth limiter EURACOM SA 4 June 1975 [5 June 1974 29 May 1975] 24156/75 Heading B8 [Also in Division G3] A froth formation limiter for drawing-off devices of carbonated beverages comprises a centred restrictor 2 defining an annular flow passage whose area increases in the direction of flow of the beverage, according to a parabolic formula. The restrictor preferably has an initial zone of parabolic shape and a downstream zone of hyperbolic shape. The flow passage increase may be provided by the shape of the restrictor or the shape of the outer conduit 1. The limiter may be part of a dip tube 4, Fig. 4, in a keg 5 and having an 0-ring 9 at its upstream end to prevent flow before the pipe 8 of the drawing device is fitted.
