Abstract
1515133 Emergency protective circuit arrangements INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 22 July 1975 [23 July 1974] 30674/75 Heading H2H A circuit arrangement for supplying electronic equipment 5 from a mains supply 4 comprises an electronic switch unit 3 or 2 and a capacitative store 1 (not shown in Fig. 3 but included in the equipment 5 thereof) connected between the mains and the equipment, and means 16 providing a switching signal in synchronism with the mains frequency or phase, to switch the switching devices in the unit 3 or 2, the switching signal being prevented from being generated when the mains voltage exceeds a predetermined value, whereby the equipment is separated from the mains supply at such times.
