Abstract

1514887 Brackets FLAMCO B V 2 Sept 1976 [12 Nov 1975] 36478/76 Heading A4B [Also in Division F2] A device for securing a tube 1 spaced from a surface comprises a screwthreaded rod 2 which is secured to the surface and a clip 3 which is secured to said rod. The clip 3 has an annular tube contacting portion and convergent legs 4, 5 which are provided with shoulders 6, 7 merging into end lips 8, 9, which lips converge inwardly with a slight radius. In use the end lips 8, 9 are disposed within a cylindrical sleeve 10 closed at its upper end by a ring 15 retained by nut 16, the clip 3 being held in position on the rod by a circular nut 12 of stepped axial cross-section, the widest part 14 of which abuts shoulders 6, 7 of clip 3. The spacing of the tube from the surface can be altered by adjustment of nuts 16 and 12.
