1513798 Partitioning PLESSEY CO Ltd 14 July 1976 [16 July 1975] 29789/75 Heading E1W Partitioning comprises wall panels 6 or windows 8; upstanding supports 14 having channels 22, 24 for reception of the wall panels or windows and which are secured to the floor by, for example, a plate 20 welded at the bottom; foundation beams 38 which lie on the floor and have recesses 40 for receiving the lower portions 42 of the supports 14; skirting members 44 which lie on the floor and are fixed to the foundation beams 38 so that the lower portions of the supports are sandwiched between them; channel members 60 fixed on the foundation beams or skirting members for receiving the lowermost wall panels or windows; and elongate members 94 to which are secured the upper portions of the supports and the uppermost wall panels orwindows. The wall panels may contain a sound absorbing or heat resisting material, and the upstanding support may have a removable or telescopic upper section for enabling the wall panels or windows to be removed.
