Abstract

1513114 Vehicle lamps WESTFALISCHE METALL INDUSTRIE KG HUECK & CO 9 Aug 1976 [21 Aug 1975] 33133/76 Heading F4R [Also in Division H2] A vehicle light, e.g. a rear indicator, with a plurality of lamps, includes a sheet metal lampholder 5 providing one electrical path common to the lamps and a number of portions severed, e.g. by stamping, from the lampholder to provide individual conductor strips, these strips being mounted on a non-conductive rear cover 3 in recesses or between projections 26. As shown, the severed strips 12 are connected at one end to the centre contacts of the lamps by spring terminals 7, the other ends 13 being grouped and bent to form socket contacts. Power is supplied from a plug engaged in the socket and this plug may have a portion connected with a line supplying power to a further light working in parallel, e.g. on a vehicle trailer. A strap 24 connects common or earth lines 13, 13a across the socket. The strips 12 are held on the rear cover 3 by heat-deformed portions of the recess edges or projections 26.
