1512088 Valves SAUNDERS VALVE CO Ltd 8 Oct 1976 [16 Oct 1975] 42555/75 Heading F2V In a screw-operated diaphragm valve, the pitch of the threads 11 between the spindle 9 and a part 5 connected to the diaphragm 4 is less than that of the threads 10 between the spindle and the bonnet 3. The threads are arranged in the same sense so that a large movement of the handwheel 7 results in a small movement of the diaphragm.
