Abstract

1510906 Electronic watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 28 Sept 1976 [30 Sept 1975(2)] 40213/76 Heading G3T In an electronic timepiece comprising a circuit board 1 carrying an I.C. chip 2, a moulded cover 5 covers most of the board surface including the chip but not terminals on the board which are connected to a display panel 4, e.g. of liquid crystal type, which is fixed to the cover 5. As described the cover is transfer moulded around the board and provided with apertures 5b, c for connection of a quartz oscillator 3 to the board. A recess 5d accommodates the panel 4 and apertures 5a contain connectors 6 to connect sets of terminals 4a on the panel rear to aligned terminals le on the board. The latter also carries condensers 8, 9 for the oscillator.
