Abstract

1508694 Ventilators H KRANTZ 24 Feb 1976 [2 April 1975] 7149/76 Heading F4V An air outlet device comprises outlet passages 3 having individual outlet apertures arranged in a row to produce respective individual air jets alternately directed in the one and the other of two diverging directions 4, 5, wherein the passages 3 are defined by an elongate core 1 provided with recesses alternately in two opposed longitudinal sides in the longitudinal direction of the core 1 and by a hollow member 2 which closes the recesses and has a slot in register with the outlet apertures of the passages 3. The member 2 defines a plenum chamber 6 having its inlet covered by a perforate sheet 7. The device is made from plastics foam or cast metal.
