Abstract

1507875 Terminal blocks F WIELAND ELEKTRISCHE INDUSTRIE GmbH 9 Oct 1975 [24 Dec 1974] 41516/75 Heading H2E A terminal block comprising a metal terminal element 4 in an insulating casing 5, which element may be electrically connected to a rail 1 by a contact bar 7, is secured to a rail by clamping jaws 9, 12. Catches 13, 14 are used to snap the casing onto the rail before tightening the clamping jaws with a contact screw 11, which is either located in the connected position in Fig. 1, or in the open position at the other end of the slit in the upper jaw, Fig. 6, by a spring clip 15. A cover 19 connected by a film hinge to the insulating easing cannot be closed as in Fig. 1 unless the contact screw is fully tightened in its connected position.
