Abstract

Switchboards; fuse-boards. - A number of switches c are secured to the rear of the hinged cover b<1> of a switchboard, the switches being provided with wire connexions to the mains with a sufficient amount of slack to permit of the opening of the cover for inspection purposes. The switches are carried by bridge-pieces b<3> attached to or formed integrally with the cover. The switches are provided with turnkeys c' which are operated by forks d<3> on spindles d<2> provided with operating-handles d<1>, the spindles and operating-handles being mounted in plates d which cover holes b<2> in the cover b<1>. A fuse-board e' may be provided on the same base a as the switchboard, the fuse-board being separated from the switchboard by a partition a<3> with perforations for the passage of the connecting-wires.
