Abstract

The water coming from the public tap-water system flows through the inflow pipe (3) having the valve (5) and the water motor (11). The water motor (11) drives the metering piston pump (10) which itself conveys the additive, for example a disinfectant, out of the tank (9) into the storage tank (2) virtually without any counterpressure. The centrifugal pump (6) extracts the liquid mixture from the storage tank (2) and forces it by way of the non-return valve (12) and the shut-off valve (15) to the consumer. The pressure vessel (7) serves for compensating pressure surges and pressure fluctuations in the main pipeline (1). When a predetermined level is reached in the storage tank (2), the solenoid valve (5) is cut off, so that the tap-water inflow ceases. The drive of the metering pump by the water motor allows an exact metering of the additive. <IMAGE>
