Abstract
1500331 Preventing the generation of nitrogen oxides in the preparation of catalysts and catalyst supports AMERICAN CYANAMID CO 16 Jan 1975 1987/75 Heading B1E Catalyst supports or supported catalysts are made by providing a composition comprising a preformed inorganic oxide support material, at least one compound which is capable of producing NO x when calcined and sufficient urea to suppress the formation of NO x when the composition is calcined and calcining the composition. The urea may be added to a promoter solution used to impregnate the support material or added to a muller mix used to form the support.
