1477089 Nitrogen oxide reduction catalysts UBE INDUSTRIES Ltd 18 Nov 1975 47370/ 75 Heading B1E [Also in Division Cl] Catalysts comprise a base of an iron oxide and a chromium oxide, and 0.1-20% by wt of the base of aluminium sulphate. They may be made by calcining a mixture of an iron salt, hydroxide or oxide with a chromium salt, hydroxide or oxide at up to 500‹C either adding the sulphate before the calcination or adding it afterwards and calcining at up to 500‹C.
