Abstract

1499045 Central heating; water heating JOH VAILLANT KG 1 June 1976 22621/76 Headings F4U and F4A A hot water circulating system comprises three flow lines connected in parallel, a liquid flow control valve 6 at a point common to said three flow lines, a heat exchanger 1 for heating the water circulating in the system in the first of said lines, an indirect heat exchanger 12 forming part of an independent domestic water supply circuit 14 in the second of said lines, and a plurality of radiators 9 in the third of said lines. The system also includes a shunt line 15, 17 having a pump 16 positioned across the heat exchanger 1. In operation of the system, with valve 6 in its connect position, water will quickly heat up in the circuit 2, 15, 17, 3. When a predetermined temperature is reached, valve 6 connects either the domestic water heater 12 or the radiators 9 to the flow line 4. Alternatively, heater 12 and radiator 9 may both be in circuit.
