Abstract

1497607 Stacking containers LITCO PLASTICS CO 25 April 1975 17197/75 Heading B8C A support for stacking barrels or other cylindrical containers lying on their sides comprises a plastic moulded grid having substantiaally identical top and bottom surfaces and formed of ribs 13, 16 extending between opposed side and end walls 14, 15, 17, 18 respectively, there being a rectangular opening 12 adjacent each corner to receive a portion of a container lying on the support or on which the support lies, and also locating posts 24 ,26 and bores 32, 34 alternately positioned around the corners for when a plurality of supports are stacked on top of one another. The posts and bores are provided on both surfaces of the support which may be of polyethylene structural foam.
