Abstract

1496817 Bearings KIENZLE APPARATE GmbH 3 July 1975 [10 Aug 1974] 28080/75 Heading F2A A shaft 6 journalled in a bearing housing 1, is held in the housing by lugs 14, 15 provided on the inner wall of a cylindrical recess located in the housing which engage a collar 20 provided on the shaft. A second collar 22 is provided on the shaft which engages the end face of the housing, the spacing between the two collars being such that once the shaft is in place the lugs are inaccessible from the outside of the bearing. Each lug has a radially extending face which engages the collar 20 and a surface 17 inclined with respect to the axis of the recess which facilitates insertion of the shaft into the housing.
