1496524 Wrench handles BRITISH LEYLAND UK Ltd 16 June 1975 [1 Aug 1974] 34040/74 Heading B4K [Also in Division B3] A wrench, e.g. for wheel nuts, comprises a cranked arm 11, a threaded-component-engaging head 12 and a lever handle 15 pivoted to the arm 11 at 16, so that in one extreme pivotal position of the lever (full lines, Fig. 1) the lever engages and forms an extension of the arm to increase the torque which may be applied by hand to unscrew the component, while in its other extreme position (chain lines, Fig. 1) the lever folds alongside the arm for screwing-up at a reduced torque.
