1495175 Neutron flux detection N D ROZENBLJUM M G MITELMAN A A KONONOVICH V S KIRSANOV and V A ZAGADKIN 23 July 1975 30750/75 Heading G6C In an arrangement for measuring the neutron flux distribution over the height of a nuclear reactor core, utilizing self-powered detectors each including an output lead and a sensitive element coupled thereto, the output lead of each detector is protected against high-energy charged particles emitted by the sensitive element of the detector disposed nearest thereto. In one embodiment detectors 1 are in slots in a cylinder 13. Screening may be by pieces of pipe provided individually for each detector, Fig. 4 (not shown) by plane plate with holes, Figs. 5 to 7 (not shown), or by a concave plate with holes, Figs. 8 to 10 (none shown).
