Abstract

149,490. Thomson, W. G., and Steele, G. M. June 16, 1919. Hinged-sliding windows.-The usual pulley stile d at one side of the window is split and rabbeted vertically to form a slide e, which is guided by the fixed remaining part of the pulley stile d and by means of feathers or ribs f. The lower sash is secured to the slide e by means of hinges h and can be swung inwards for cleaning &c. The sash or the slide e is hung on a counter weighted rope. The batten rods c are removable. A cover g may be provided at the weight pocket side of the slide e.
