Abstract

1493047 Centrifugal fans BOSCH-SIEMANS HAUSGERATE GmbH 5 Feb 1975 [8 Feb 1974] 4954/75 Heading F1C A fan has surfaces of catalytically self-cleaning material. Hot air laden with grease and fat within an oven for cooking food is circulated by a fan comprising an impeller 10 driven by a motor 24 mounted outside the oven lining 2. The impeller 10, which is surrounded by the oven heating element 12, draws the air through a central hole 18 in a baffle plate 14 and discharges it through gaps above and below the baffle plate. The impeller 10 and baffle plate 14 are coated with a catalytically self-cleaning enamel.
