Abstract

1492696 Ejectors ERDOLCHEMIE GmbH AND BAYER AG 17 Feb 1975 [20 Feb 1974] 6540/75 Heading F1E [Also in Division B1 ] An ejector device for aerating a liquid (e.g. sewage) comprises a housing 1 having a liquid inlet 2 and a gas inlet 3, and a detachable mixing nozzle 7 having a tubular extension 6 forming a shroud for the injector nozzle 5, the shroud has a ring of bores 8 through which gas is induced from an outer chamber defined between the shroud and the housing. The mixing nozzle 7 is screwed into the housing and secured by a lock nut 9, whereby the shroud 6 retains the nozzle 5 against a sealing ring 4.
