Abstract

1491236 Feeding animals J H PARKER 1 Dec 1975 [3 Dec 1974] 52188/74 Heading AIM A cattle feeding device comprises a trailer 10 or other vehicle having a frame 23 supporting a flat bed manger 11 and a rack assembly 12 fixed to posts 24 at each end of the frame. The upper part 36 of the rack side walls is covered with sheet metal to form a hopper and the lower part of the walls is of wire mesh or bars to form the feed rack. Shield panels 37 may be provided to reduce spillage at the ends of the manger. The trailer may have two wheels and telescopically adjustable legs 15. The rack assembly may have a railed platform superimposed thereon for use by persons training crops. The rack assembly may be detachable to enable the rest of the device to be used as a transport vehicle.
