936,002. Animal feeding appliances. LODDON ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Nov. 10, 1960 [Aug. 17, 1959], No. 28088/59. Class 5(2). A combined hay rack, manger and fencing unit comprises a rack H and manger M supported between uprights adapted for securing to the ground, so as to be capable of use as part of the fencing enclosing for example, a stockyard, the rack and trough being disposed so as to be readily accessible for filling from the outside of the enclosure. As shown in Fig. 1, the rack and trough are supported by pairs of uprights 1, so as to be accessible for filling from the far side of the unit as illustrated in the figure, the space between the rack and trough being sub-divided by bars 15 which may be positioned diagonally as shown in dotted lines to deter the animals from withdrawing their heads from the trough whilst feeding. The rack and trough are each adjustable independently relative to the uprights 1. As shown in Fig. 6, the rack and trough are supported by a single line of uprights 20 so as to be accessible for filling from the near side of the unit as illustrated in the Figure, and are adjustable as a single unit relative to the uprights.
