Abstract

1489975 Casting-machines G O FORCESI 4 March 1975 [27 March 1974] 8952/75 Heading B3F Apparatus for low pressure die casting comprises a furnace 1 having a delivery duct 9 which is movable with respect to the furnace, and a tiltable plate 16 for supporting a die 3, the plate 16 being provided with a nozzle 18 and the duct 9 being movable to co-operate with the nozzle 18. The plate 16 is supported on levers 19 pivoted at 20 and movable by jacks 22. It may be fixed at a given inclination by arms 23. The duct 9 can be moved vertically by a jack 11 pivoted to a lever 12 which engages under a collar 14 on the duct. A sealing bellows 10 is arranged between the duct 9 and the top of the furnace, and the nozzle 18 is preferably removably mounted on the plate 16.
