Abstract
1489844 Flower holders DART INDUSTRIES Inc 19 June 1975 [29 July 1974] 26190/75 Heading A4U A structure for holding flora comprises a bowl and a vase, the bowl being positionable upon or under the vase and having an opening in its bottom wall bounded by flanges 15, 17 for respective alternative engagement with an extension 46 of the side wall of the vase or an internal ridge 54 of the side wall, see also Fig. 6 (not shown). When the flange 17 engages the ridge 54 an annular projection 40 on the bowl engages the top edge 50 of the vase, and when the flange 15 engages the side wall extension 46 the flange 17 is engaged in a resilient U-shaped sealing part 20 of a closure member 18 having upstanding spikes 30. The opening in the bowl has therein a mesh grid 24, see also Figs. 8 and 9 (not shown), having openings 26. The structure is made of plastics material. Ribs 48 on the extension 46 engage the flange 15 to facilitate their interengagement.
