Abstract

1489131 Valves CARMO HANDELS-OG INDUSTRI A/S 24 Jan 1975 3281/75 Heading F2V An inflation valve for an air cushion comprises a closing member 5 which screws into a housing 1 having a flange 2 for attachment to the cushion. The closing member has a V-section annular projection 8 engaging in a matching groove 11 in the housing. A passage 18 through the closing member is controlled by a tubular non-return valve 16 of resilient material having a slot 17 through its peripheral surface. A flange 15 of the non-return valve is glued to the closing member. A captive plug 20 seals the outer end of the passage 18.
