1489099 Shaft couplings KONISHIROKU PHOTO INDUSTRY CO Ltd 17 Nov 1975 [25 Nov 1974] 47346/75 Heading F2U [Also in Division G2] In a photocopying machine the drive, e.g. from a sprocket wheel 2, to different items, e.g. a drum mounted for rotation on the driven shaft 1 and a pulley 7 driven by the shaft through a magnetic clutch 6 to reciprocate a mirror, the shaft coupling 4 comprises a vibration damping member 5. The member 5 may be made of neoprene, polyurethane or vulcanized rubber and formed either as a ring inserted between projections 411, 421 or plates adhered to the projections; alternatively, the member 5 may be inserted between splines on the driving and driven members. The mirror is returned by a sprocket wheel 10 mounted on the pulley 7.
