Abstract
1487229 Lead-in insulating arrangement TRANSFORMATOREN UNION AG 4 Dec 1974 [8 Dec 1973] 52489/74 Heading H2C An insulating arrangement for the output lines 2 of a h.v. winding 1 comprises pairs of concentric sleeves 51, 61, 71 surrounding the output line, each sleeve having a flange at the h.v. winding end, the flange of one sleeve of each pair extending on one side of an insulating concentric rings 5, 6, 7 surrounding the winding and the flange of the other sleeve of said pair extending on the other side of the said insulating rings with the sleeve extending through the aperture. The insulating rings have portions bent in the axial direction of the h.v. winding 1 and the flanges of the sleeves 51, 61, 71 likewise bent to the same shape. Double-shelled walls 52, 62, 72 are held spaced apart by the outer sleeve of each pair of sleeves. Further washers 4 provide additional insulation. An inner ring 3 is formed integrally with a flue wall 31 adjacent the output line 2.
