Abstract

1485862 Central heating systems STADT WIEN 3 Sept 1974 [5 Sept 1973] 38378/74 Heading F4M [Also in Division F2] A connecting member 6 for use in a central heating installation having parallel feed and return pipes 4, 3, comprises two mutually independent, non-communicating flow paths located one inside the other, each of the two paths terminating in a connector, and wherein the connectors are arranged in adjacent side by side pairs. A shown, the member 6 includes a chamber 7 and an elbow pipe 8 extending through the chamber 7. Connectors 17, 19 are provided for connection to the pipes 4, 3; connectors 12, 13 are provided for connection to a radiator 14. The connecting member 6 also includes a flow regulating valve 11. A through pipe 9 penetrates the chamber 7, the elbow pipe 8 extending from the pipe 9. The pipe 3 may also extend through the member 6. The pipes 3, 4 are enclosed in a skirting board cover 5.
