Abstract

1,274,224. Pipe couplings. DELTA ENGS. BRASSFOUNDRY Ltd. 9 Feb., 1970 [11 Nov., 1968], No. 53231/68. Heading F2G. [Also in Division F4] A fluid flow distributer in a central heating system comprises two parallel pipes 10, 11 supported at each end, each having a plurality of lateral connectors 14 communicating with the pipes through holes 15, and having a coaxial connector 16, 13 at one end. The supports 12, 18, lateral connectors 14, and coaxial connectors 16, 13 are separated along each pipe 10, 11 by seals 19. Pipe 10 with its associated connectors 14 provides an inflow to radiators, the corresponding outflow passing through pipe 11 and its associated connectors 14. In a central heating system employing two such distributers, Fig. 1 (not shown), connector 16 for each distributer provides the inflow, whereas in one distributer connector 13 provides the outflow, but in the other distributer connector 13 provides an inflow from the former distributer, and pipe 11 has another coaxial connector 17 providing the outflow.
