Abstract

1485053 Electrostatic precipitators CHEMTOOL Inc 12 Nov 1974 48948/74 Heading B2J The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1485054, but the claims are concerned with the ionizer assembly of the precipitator. As shown, spaced members 16, 17 support a plurality of couples of ionizer wires 22, each couple being tensioned by a single spring 43. One wire of each couple is located upstream relative to the flow of air through the precipitator and is associated with a grounded ionizer tube 29, whilst the other wire is located downstream and is associated with another grounded tube.
