Abstract

1484368 Ink droplet printing XEROX CORP 29 Oct 1974 46652/74 Heading B6 An ink droplet recorder comprises a container 1 for ink 2, a rod electrode 3 protruding slightly above the surface of the ink, and a second electrode 4, an electric field being generated between the electrodes 3, 4 which causes droplets 5 to be generated. The second electrode may be constituted by the container 1. The protruding tip 8 of the electrode 3 may be coated with an insulating material.
