Abstract

[Also in Divisions B6 and G2] In a method of producing an electrostatic printing master by spark erosion, a scribing electrode (9) is moved over the surface of a metal coating (2), on a thermoplastic base (1) or on a plastic coated paper base (1), while connected to one terminal of a high voltage A.C. source (13). The other terminal of the source is connected to a fixed point on the layer.
