Abstract

1483720 Hydraulic accumulators GREER HYDRAULICS Inc 24 Feb 1976 [24 Feb 1975] 07252/76 Heading F1D A method of forming an accumulator from a cylinder 11 comprises the steps of inserting an annular supporting member 24 to which a diaphragm 25 is bonded and deforming the ends 12, 13 inwards to form the ends of the accumulator. The end 13 is deformed first and the connector 17 is fitted. After the member 24 has been inserted it is welded at 37. The end 12 is now closed on to a gas valve 41. The ends may be deformed by shinning, rolling or pressing.
