Abstract

1412253 Hydraulic accumulators AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS Ltd 5 Jan 1973 [14 Jan 1972] 1894/72 Heading F1D A one piece accumulator body 10, Fig. 1, has end-members 15, 19 and steps 12, 13 which cooperate with a ring 23 to retain a diaphragm 24 in position. Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which a ring 41 abuts the flat end 34 of a body 30 and retains a diaphragm 44. Fig. 3 shows an arrangement in which a retaining cup-shaped member 51 with a depression 53 and an orifice 54 in the base is provided to retain a diaphragm 55. Methods of manufacturing the accumulators are described.
