Abstract

1483603 Keys CISA SpA 9 Aug 1974 35149/74 Heading E2A A double-bit key having at each end of its Shank 1 identical but reversed double bits 4, 5 and 6, 7 for inside and outside use on an appropriate lock, has a shroud 14 which may be slid along the shank to cover the bit which is not in use. A stirrup 26 which is indexed in slots 24, 25, keeps the shroud in place. Unsymetrical ribs such as 11, on the bit prevent reverse insertion of the key. A modified stirrup is described, (Fig 3, not shown). The central part 5, 6, 7, 8 of the bit operates the lock bolt.
